In April 2011 The New Zealand Nurses Organisation, College of Nurses Aotearoa (NZ) Inc, Te Ao Māramatanga (NZ College of Mental Health Nurses Inc) and Te Kaunihera O Ngā Neehi Māori O Aotearoa (National Council of Māori Nurses) formed a consortium to provide for a national endorsement process of specialty standards and knowledge and skills frameworks (KSF).
